Energika, the first outdoor sports festival

Two days of celebration with outdoor sports in San Marino

Energika, the first outdoor sports festival in the Republic of San Marino, was presented to the press today. A weekend, April 22nd and 23rd, full of sports and outdoor fun for all tastes and all ages.

It will be an opportunity to try your hand at various outdoor activities such as: archery, slackline, parkour, trail run, e-bike, climbing, trekking and yoga. All based in Campo Bruno Reffi, an iconic location in the heart of San Marino’s Old Town.

Both days, from about 10 to 18, expert instructors will be available to let the public try out the various disciplines. In some cases, such as archery and Trail Run, there are also competitions open to all with final prizes. In particular, the Titano Trail Run will be held on Sunday morning at 10.00, the first FIDAL National Trail race of the Republic of San Marino, with start and finish in Campo Bruno Reffi. There are two planned routes, on the distances of 14 km and 25 km, to discover the Cammino del Titano.

Not only sports but also live music: on Saturday from 16.00 to 20.00, 55 musicians of all ages will take turns on stage to play great rock classics. Furthermore, there will be food and beverage with the presence of food trucks for the entire duration of the festival.

The Minister of Tourism Federico Pedini Amati: “We have been focusing on the tourist attraction of outdoor activities, wellness and adrenaline-pumping events for several years now. Those that Energika will present during the next weekend are activities which, within the limits of the rules, can be practiced every day in the green areas of our territory and which have a strong tourist and sports value. I'm really curious to go back to see the slackline between our Towers but also to be able to assist and why not try all those activities that the organizers will bring to the Old Town. Energika San Marino Outdoor Sport & Adventure Festival is the perfect event to promote our idea of green and open-air tourism”
