The UNWTO General Assembly in Samarkand

The International Conference on Accessible Tourism to be held in San Marino on 16 and 17 November has been presented

More than 40 ministers and over 1000 technicians, department heads and promotional bodies took part, from Monday to yesterday, in the 25th General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization which was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
The representatives of the various nations discussed technical issues, budget approvals and new regulations, but the General Assembly dealt with the restart of the post-covid tourism sector and the problems currently imposed by the Russia-Ukraine and Palestine-Israel conflicts. Statistics and relaunch projects were presented with particular attention to sustainability. The UNWTO International Conference on Accessible Tourism which will be held on 16 and 17 November in the Republic of San Marino was presented during the Europe Regional Commission and during the Plenary Assembly.
