Personal Exhibition of the Artist Eduardo Kobra
The internationally recognized Brazilian muralist returns to San Marino
On the occasion of the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of official relations between the Republic of San Marino and the Federative Republic of Brazil, the exhibition space of the Ministry of Tourism will host the Personal Exhibition of Eduardo Kobra, Brazilian artist and painter, well-known worldwide for its murals created with the graffiti technique.
Born in the suburbs of São Paulo in 1975, Eduardo Kobra is today an internationally renowned artist who has broken mural size records. He has been invited by numerous galleries, museums and organizations, including the United Nations, to exhibit his works and participate in major projects. Recently, the film about his life won the Brazilian Cinema Grand Prize. Kobra is known for his sensitivity to social issues and works to use art as a vehicle to promote positive change. He founded the Kobra Institute to bring culture closer to those who have less access and support humanitarian causes. His work is characterized by vibrant, contrasting colors and his ability to portray personalities, historical facts and social issues in giant murals.
The artist returns to San Marino after having created one of his street art works in 2022, among the largest created, at the headquarters building of the San Marino company SIT with a theme inspired by the salient moments of life in San Marino from which the image used for a stamp issued by Poste San Marino Spa was also taken.
On display are 10 works including 8 paintings and 2 large panels.
