"Copertina", open-air theater

San Marino, 26 June 2023 - From 27 June to 13 July 2023 the fourth edition of the "Copertina" event is back in the suggestive location of Cava dei Balestrieri, the series of shows and entertainment organized by "The Moon Industry by Kia Ora Travel" of San Marino, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Education and Culture, in collaboration with the San Marino Tourism Board.

Starting from Tuesday 27 June and for three consecutive weeks, Cava dei Balestrieri will turn into a real "open-air theatre", with a rich program in which art will be the protagonist. A cascade of flowers, soft lights, sofas, blankets and pillows will be the precious background for nine evenings animated by live music, theatre, comedy shows, dance and a cinema full of surprises.

Among the absolute novelties of this year, the decision to engage the Bromance, very young comedian talents made in San Marino, who will accompany the public as "minstrels" on each Copertina date, and will have the burden and to open the dance on June 27 with their comedy show "Bromance, I don't like you!". Furthermore, the support and collaboration of Fabrizio Raggi in the entire artistic and logistic organization of the event, who will play the role of director and actor in his show "Per Amore e per Rabbia", which will be held on Thursday 6 July.

Many events dedicated to families and children are on the calendar: starting on Thursday 29 June with the screening of the film "Encanto" with surprises, and then continuing on Wednesday 5 July, when Cava dei Balestrieri will turn into a real amusement park for families themed “Super Mario Bros”. On Tuesday 11 July circus performances and the screening of the film "Sing 2" will capture the attention of young and old.

To enrich and complete the event, the show "Jazz Mon Amour" by the singer Kelly Joyce on 28 June and the evening "Born in the USA" with the concert by the Military Band of the Republic of San Marino and Country Show on 4 July, while Wednesday 12 July the unpublished theatrical show "Fino alle Stelle", edited by Bradipoteatar. On 13 July don't miss the grand finale "60...70...80...90...2023!" with a journey through the history of music together with Bromance and Giuseppe Giardi and a truly unmissable dj battle.

To form the Copertina team, The Moon Industry by Kia Ora Travel wanted to make the most of San Marino resources, putting together a team of local and surrounding realities to create together an event designed down to the smallest detail, from the set-ups to the food&beverage, with the involvement of passionate local entrepreneurs (Osteria da Giulio, 02, Piccolo Restaurant, Rainbow Sushi 2.0, Altro Gelato, Maison Patîsserie, Time Off, La Loggia) who will cheer up the nine event-evenings with their specialties. From sunset onwards, in fact, it will be possible to choose from numerous and delicious proposals: street food, sushi, artisan ice cream, puddings, cocktails and much more to be enjoyed comfortably nestled between soft cushions and soft lights.

Every evening the entertainment will start at 19.00 while the main show is at 21.00.
