"Copertina", open-air theater
“Copertina” evenings continue in the suggestive location of Cava dei Balestrieri
The weekly appointment with "Copertina" is back, the series of shows and entertainment organized by "The Moon Industry by Kia Ora Travel" of San Marino, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Education and Culture, in collaboration with the San Marino Tourism Board.
Also this week Cava dei Balestrieri will turn into a real "open-air theatre", with three evenings animated by live music, dance, theater, and an evening dedicated to the little ones.
Scheduled for Tuesday 4 July "Born in the Usa": concert by the Military Band of the Republic of San Marino in "American Cult"; Bromance show in "The Good, the Bad and the Bald"; Country Show with live music featuring the Nashville & Backbones, Wild Angels country dance school.
It will continue on Wednesday 5 July with “Super Mario Bros – Kids Adventure Garden”. The Cava dei Balestrieri will become an amusement park for families: parent/child challenges, games, activities for the little ones, face painting. Great treasure hunt organized by San Marino Experience. Magic show by Ernesto the Magician. Circus school created by Il Castello del Circo. Music and dancing.
It will be ending on Thursday 6 July with the theatrical show "Per Amore e per Rabbia" by and with Fabrizio Raggi. Actors, musicians, and dancers on stage. Lounge with harp, violin and voice. After show music with Dj Mario.
In the refreshment area, many delicious and tasty choices of food&drinks, ideal for an aperitif, for a dinner or an after-dinner among soft lights, sofas, blankets and comfortable cushions. All curated by: Osteria da Giulio, 02, Piccolo Restaurant, Rainbow Sushi 2.0, Altro Gelato, Maison Patîsserie, Time Off, La Loggia.
Every evening the entertainment will start at 19.00 while the main show will start at 21.00. Entrance is subject to a fee and the seats set up in the garden are subject to limited availability, therefore advance booking is required at the following numbers: 331-8559848 / 392-0010603.
Please note that the cable car service is active every day until 01.00
The appointment with Copertina will be back next week, on the evenings of 11-12-13 July.
