Italy-San Marino, Minister Santanchè returns to San Marino for the International Conference on Accessible Tourism UNWTO

Also expected for the event Her Highness Princess Haifa bint Muhammad Al Saud, Deputy Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia

The Italian Minister of Tourism Daniela Garnero Santanchè, who supported the initiative by accepting the partnership with the Republic of San Marino for the organization of the prestigious event, will attend the International Conference of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on Accessible Tourism which will be held on 16 and 17 November at the Kursaal Congress Center.

Minister Santanchè will participate in the Opening Ceremony at 9.30 on 16 November and at 10.45 she will be the protagonist of the ministerial round table "How can strategic leadership promote concrete results in terms of accessibility?" together with Deputy Minister for Regional Development of the Czech Republic Jan Fluxa, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea Mi-Ran Jang, head of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan Umid Shadiev and advisor to the Minister of Israel Tourism Peleg Lewi.

Political authorities, entrepreneurs, technicians and politicians are expected in the Republic to follow a programme that includes over 10 high-level panels with the presentation of projects, initiatives and case histories that will enrich the discussion and contribute in defining the "San Marino Action Plan", a document which should dictate the guidelines for the development of accessible and sustainable tourism in line with the objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and respectful of people with disabilities and at the same time make the Republic of San Marino a permanent hub for the development of inclusiveness.

Among the guests also Princess Haifa bint Muhammad Al Saud, Saudi Deputy Minister of Tourism who returns to San Marino a few months after her last visit to confirm the excellent relations in the field of tourism development between the two countries.
