Brasilessenza is the concert that marks the return to Italy of Fafá de Belém, iconic voice of the Música Popular Brasileira.

The singer will perform a duet with André Mehmari, one of the most successful and versatile pianists and composers on the Brazilian music scene. On Mehmari's piano notes, Fafá will retrace some of his greatest successes, his own compositions and those of great names of the MPB such as Tom Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Ivan Lins, Chico Buarque and others.

Fafá de Belém, born Maria de Fátima Palha de Figueiredo, was born in Belém, capital of the Brazilian state of Pará and "Gateway to the Amazon".
An iconic singer-songwriter of Brazilian popular music, she boasts a 50-year career and more than 15 million albums sold between Brazil and Portugal.
She has recorded more than 30 albums including CDs, DVDs and EPs and has participated with other artists in numerous successful music collections.
More than 50 of his songs have been used as musical motifs in soap operas and TV specials.

André Mehmari was born in Niterói (state of Rio de Janeiro) and is a pianist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger and music composer.
Considered by critics "a singular artist, with a vibrant and generous imagination", he is one of the most original and complete Brazilian musicians of his generation, awarded in both classical and popular music.

The concert is promoted on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of official relations between San Marino and Brazil.
