Following the success of 2025 Edition, San Marino RTV announces the second edition of the most anticipated music event: the San Marino Song Contest.

The grand finale will be held on Friday 6 March 2026, at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana (Republic of San Marino) and broadcast live on San Marino RTV, channel 550, on RaiPlay and on Radio San Marino.

The final will determine the artist who will represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, taking place in Vienna, Austria, from May 12 to 16.

New format: the new edition of the San Marino Song Contest will feature, in addition to the March 6 final, two semifinals broadcast live on RTV on March 2 and 3 mirroring the Eurovision model. Each semifinal will feature 20 contestants.

Ten emerging contestants from the two semifinals will advance to the March 6 final, along with 10 established competitors.

Produced and organized by San Marino RTV and the Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with Media Evolution.
Massimo Bonelli will be the artistic director, Cristiano D'Alisera will direct, Marco Lucarelli will be the cinematographer, and Marco Calzavara will be the set designer.
