In the footsteps of Saint Marinus
On 31 August the second pilgrimage for peace
The Ministry of Tourism with the Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro and the Diocese of Rimini is organizing the second pilgrimage for peace on 31 August
The Ministry of Tourism, together with the Diocese of San Marino - Montefeltro and the Diocese of Rimini, organizes the "Pilgrimage for Peace in the footsteps of Saint Marinus". On 31 August, starting at 10.00 from Santo Marino di Poggio Torriana and stopping in Gualdicciolo and Fonte di Acquaviva and arriving at the Basilica of Saint Marinus, it will be possible to walk a stretch of the Walk of Saint Marinus.
Upon arrival at the Basilica of Saint Marinus, there will be a blessing with the Relic of the Saint while the Apostolic Penitentiary will kindly grant the Plenary Indulgence to the faithful participating in the Pilgrimage.
The initiative is part of the projects to promote religious tourism and its walks that the Ministry of Tourism is pursuing.
