The commitment of Secretary of State Pedini Amati to the WTM in London continues

In the morning, the UNTourism ministerial on the topic of artificial intelligence applied to tourism

Second day of mission for the Secretary of State for Tourism Federico Pedini Amati in London where the 44th edition of the World Travel Market is underway.

This morning the Ministers of Tourism and the "focal points" of UNTourism met for the ministerial meeting to discuss artificial intelligence applied to tourism.  The meeting brought together thought leaders, industry experts, policy makers and technology innovators to explore, together with Ministers, the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in shaping the future of travel and hospitality.

At the stand of the Spanish tourism promotion, the Secretary of State Federico Pedini Amati paid homage to the victims of the flood that hit the community of Valencia and the south of the Iberian peninsula with a message left in the specially prepared book.

Among the meetings of the day, the one with the Croatian Minister of Tourism Tonci Glavina and the one with the Deputy Minister of Finance and former Greek Minister of Tourism Harry Theoharis who expressed his intention to run for leadership of the United Nations World Tourism Organization. Theoharis, a long-time friend of the Republic of San Marino, was awarded the Honor of Sant'Agata in 2021 after having signed, in Athens, the San Marino - Greece Memorandum of Understanding for Tourism with the Secretary of State Federico Pedini Amati.

The Republic of San Marino is present at the WTM with a 40 m2 exhibition space managed by the Tourism Office where 6 San Marino operators are also based.
