Yesterday ended in Osaka the promotional activity of the San Marino Tourism Board, in collaboration with the General Commissariat of the Republic of San Marino for Expo 2025.

Fourteen days in which the Tourism Board, together with San Marino Welcome, within its Tourism booth, presented our country as a tourist destination to the Japanese public, illustrating its history, institutions, peculiarities and traditions, gaining great interest from all. Libertas, the mascot of San Marino Expo 2025 designed by Simone Legno, played a starring role, and was requested by all present for a photo shoot to post on social networks.

Also present at the final day were the Deputy Minister for Tourism Alan Gasperoni and the General Commissioner of the Republic of San Marino for Expo 2025 Filippo Francini.

For Alan Gasperoni, Deputy Minister for Tourism, 'Expo is also and above all promotion in the field of tourism. Promoting our tourism with a special booth like the one in these weeks, during an event that catalyses millions of people is a great marketing and communication opportunity. An intuition of the General Commissariat that the Minister Federico Pedini Amati has grasped by entrusting its management to the Tourism Board in collaboration with San Marino Welcome. San Marino at Expo, with its Pavilion and with initiatives like this one, proves to be a great state that promotes itself effectively and attracts the attention of millions of people".

"The participation of the Tourism Board in Expo Osaka 2025 has aroused great interest from the Japanese public. Making our destination known in Asia is a strategic opportunity to enhance the historical identity and the tourism offer of our country, attracting new visitors and strengthening the presence of San Marino in international markets," says the Director of the Tourism Board, Annachiara Sica.
