The "Alba sul Monte..in concerto" festival returns
5 events from July 27 to August 24
One of the most anticipated music festivals of the San Marino summer returns: five unmissable events featuring great music from July 27th to August 24th.
The Camerata del Titano Musical Association, supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Tourism Board, offers a rich and diverse program for the 2025 edition, featuring top-level artists.
Five concerts on five consecutive Sundays, starting at dawn at six o'clock in the evocative setting of the "Orti dell'Arciprete" behind the Basilica del Santo, on a terrace offering a unique view: that of the Adriatic Sea at sunrise. This historic location, dedicated to silence and reflection, is the ideal setting for listening to great music in a special atmosphere, with the opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast afterwards.
The event kicks off on Sunday, July 27th with a delightful return: the accordion ensemble led by Maestros Sergio Scappini and Paolo Vignani. The Accordion Concert, a tradition within a tradition, has always entertained and enchanted audiences with original offerings. It continues on August 3rd with a seven-trumpet ensemble performing both classical repertoire (Gabrieli, Handel, etc.) and original arrangements of the most familiar repertoire (film scores, songs, etc.). The "event" concert on August 10th will feature Fabrizio Raggi, accompanied by Rodolfo Rossi on percussion (Lion for Lifetime Achievement - Venice Biennale 2023) and Marco Ignoti on clarinet, who will bring to life the "Poem of the Wind," an organized and coherent collection of fragments from literary masterpieces by Virgil, Da Vinci, Borges, Nezami, Faletti, Calvino, De Luca, Barricco, Neruda, Benni, etc.; On the 17th, the piano duo "Ad Parnassum" will perform a four-handed program that, alongside the most typical classical repertoire, will once again evoke dreamy and romantic atmospheres. "Alba sul Monte... in Concerto" will conclude on Sunday, August 24th with another "event" dedicated to Argentina, not only to tango, but to its musical culture, the various influences that have shaped it, and the color and passion that characterizes it.
