Exhibitions

“Garibaldi, Statues in Motion” Photography Exhibitionuntil 17 August
The photography exhibition Garibaldi, Statues in Motion stems from Francesco Arancioni's passion for the Hero of Two Worlds, whose footsteps he decided to follow across Italy, South America, and other significant places in his exceptional life, including San Marino.
In 1849, General Giuseppe Garibaldi, military leader of the revolutionaries fighting to unify Italy, took refuge in San Marino with about 2.000 soldiers to escape the armies of Austria and Rome. The authorities managed to prevent the Austrian troops from entering, giving Garibaldi's men time to leave the territory without bloodshed. Arancioni, armed only with his camera, searched for and photographed the numerous statues immortalizing Giuseppe Garibaldi in various poses during his travels.

“Between mystery and charm of frescoes” Solo exhibition by Ido Eraniuntil 28 September
The exhibition features thirty frescoes created over the last decade by the Forlì-based artist, some of which were created specifically for the occasion. The artist's arrival at fresco painting is the culmination of many trials and attempts. Perhaps it is his love for the ancient art of the great masters of the past, his enchantment with Renaissance Madonnas and smooth, transparent surfaces that prompt him to investigate, to search among many materials and polychrome earths, to experiment with the use of marble powder and quicklime to create a suitable support for his frescoes, to generate a unique and ideal preparation, which he himself works on from start to finish. Ido Erani's works are exhibited in many European countries, particularly France and Spain.
