From the Land to the Table

San Marino promotes local products and the agri-food supply chain

The joint project promoted by the Secretariat of State for Territory, Environment and Agriculture and the Secretariat of State for Tourism: "From the Land to the Table" was presented on August 10, 2025, at the Cantina Vini di San Marino.

The initiative represents a valuable new step in a long-term effort to promote the country's culinary and winemaking excellence. Its goal is to foster dialogue between the San Marino agri-food sector and the restaurant industry, promoting the use of local products—starting with wine—on the tables of restaurants in the Republic of San Marino.

The initiative, also developed in collaboration with the Consorzio Vini Tipici di San Marino, is part of a favorable context: since 2020, the Republic of San Marino has been an official member of the European Union for organic production, with regulatory parity allowing the free circulation of San Marino organic products on the European market, without costly import or export procedures. The long-term goal is to achieve organic production throughout the entire cultivated territory.
A key element in the launch and development of "From the Earth to the Table" is the active participation of the Consorzio Terra di San Marino, a true pillar in the promotion and protection of typical products and the rural territory.

"From the Land to the Table" will continue in the coming months with new stages, involving other San Marino agri-food excellences, in a journey of growth and promotion that combines quality, tradition, and sustainable development.
