The new flexible, shared transport-on-demand service

SMUVI is an on-demand public transport service that allows people to reach any location in the Republic of San Marino at any time, without having to adhere to fixed timetables.

Who ca use this service? 
SMUVI is for everyone, residents and visitors alike. With SMUVI, everyone can travel freely between the picturesque nine Castelli in the area, easily reach even the most scenic and less central areas, and better organise your the exploring the historical and natural beauty that San Marino has to offer.

How to book a journey with the SMUVI app
You need to choose:

- the address or bus stop of departure
- the address or bus stop of arrival
- the time of travel, choosing whether to travel immediately (‘travel now’) or plan a journey in advance

If you select an address other than a bus stop, the app will suggest a journey that starts and/or ends at the nearest stop.
The app allows you to track the bus, with the option of monitoring its location before and during the journey in real time.

The app is available in the following languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Catalan, Finnish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic.

Timetable
SMUVI runs all year round, including Sundays and public holidays.
Until 14 June
Weekdays: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 to 18:00
Friday, Saturday and days before public holidays: 8:30 to 1:00
Sundays and public holidays: 8:00 to 20:00
From 15 June until the start of the 2026/2027 school year
Weekdays: Monday to Thursday: 6:30 to 20:00
Friday, Saturday and days before public holidays: 6:30 to 1:00
Sunday and public holidays: 8:00  to 20:00
From 24 July to 6 September
Evening service extended until 1:00

Free service
From 2 March to 30 September 2026, for a total of 7 months, public transport will be completely free of charge.
