BUONENOVE2, 9 castles (Municipalities) 9 artists
Public art for the Republic of San Marino - Second Edition

The first widespread urban art event in the territory of San Marino: from 15 June until 3 September, nine artists of national and international importance will create site-specific interventions in each of the nine Castles (Municipalities), transforming walls, partitions and urban surfaces into permanent works of art.

Buonenove was born from an idea by Davide Pagliardini, Visual & Motion Designer from San Marino, with the aim of enhancing and redeveloping public spaces and the urban landscape of San Marino through visual art, generating a dialogue between contemporary languages and local identity, between creativity and collective memory.

Walls and places, some of which are no longer in use, will thus be able to acquire new meanings through artistic incursions, capable of creating new processes of interaction and relationship with them, inviting citizens to look at everyday places with new eyes. 

BUONENOVE2 is an itinerant and widespread event, diluted over time between June and September 2026.
