The events scheduled in San Marino for the first weekend of August

Thursdays in the City Centre –   6 August

The five special evenings in San Marino’s Old Town, dedicated to shopping, culture, entertainment and fine food continue on 6, 13 and 27 August. Shops, bars, restaurants, museums, the Tourist Information Office, the Philatelic and Numismatic Shop, and attractions will stay open later than usual, accompanied by live music and performances. Visitors can also reach San Marino using the San Marino–Rimini Shuttle Bus service, available until 23.15, or the Cable Car service connecting Borgo Maggiore with the Old Town, operating until 00.45.

San Marino’s summer invites visitors to discover tradition, flavours, art, wellness, and music in unique locations across the Republic of San Marino. Ci Vediamo in Galleria – 6 August

A project created to share with the community the research developed by art scholars, interns, volunteers, artists, and cultural practitioners who have contributed to enhancing the Performative Archive of San Marino’s National Gallery. During this event, young Sammarinese scholars Sofia Zoffoli and Rossella Valli Casadei will present their research dedicated to the history of the Montale Gallery and the historic Provoc’Arte exhibition, offering a reinterpretation of the historical, artistic, and cultural significance of one of the most important sites of San Marino’s heritage.

Giuseppe Cederna - Maestri –   6 August

As part of the San Marino TeatrOUT – Stiamo Fuori festival, Giuseppe Cederna presents Maestri, accompanied by Matteo Castellan on vocals, keyboards, and accordion, and by Nicola Testa on guitar. Through readings, reflections, and live music, the audience is guided through a narrative that invites them to rediscover the value of listening, memory, and our connection with the world. In case of bad weather, the event will take place at the Teatro Concordia. Any change of location will be promptly communicated.

Summer Vibes 2026 - Benji and Fede in concert –   7 August

Live music at the San Marino Outlet with Summer Vibes, the summer concert series that continues to bring some of the most beloved Italian and international music artists to the stage of the new arena every Friday evening. On Friday 7 August, Benji and Fede will take the stage. The duo that has won over younger audiences with a musical journey that has left its mark on an entire generation. Tre Serate di Emozioni live with the San Marino Concert Band, PARTE II –  7, 8 and 9 August

Three evenings dedicated to great music with an event created by Maestro Dino Gnassi, who also signs the arrangements and conducts, together with the San Marino Concert Band. Three leading figures of Italian music will take turns on stage for a festival that blends different styles and sounds into a single live performance experience.

 Greg - 7 August: Musician, singer, and actor, Greg will bring his unmistakable style to the stage, combining the tradition of American jazz and swing with musical excellence and a touch of irony.

Paolo Jannacci - 8 August: A refined pianist and an artist with a strong personality, Jannacci will bring to the stage a repertoire that elegantly blends singer-songwriter tradition, jazz, and contemporary sounds.

Eugenio Finardi - 9 August: An iconic voice of Italian rock, Eugenio Finardi will revisit his most beloved songs in a new orchestral arrangement, blending electronic elements, jazz, and symphonic sounds.

Saint Francis: Footsteps on Mount Titano –   8 August

A symbolic journey through the natural landscapes of Mount Titano, celebrating the beauty of Creation according to the message of Saint Francis. The initiative is part of the Republic of San Marino’s celebrations marking the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi (1226–2026) and is recognised among the cultural routes of “Saint Francis’ Ways”, part of the Council of Europe Cultural Routes.

Concert for Europe  –   8 August

Concert by the Harmonie Municipale de Mont-Saint-Martin, a leading force in the cultural life of the French town, featuring a repertoire ranging from classical music to film soundtracks, as well as contemporary pieces and traditional marches. The event is part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the twinning between the municipalities of Montecopiolo, Carpegna, and Pietrarubbia and the Municipality of Mont-Saint-Martin (France).

Stargazing Under the Sky –   8 and 9 August

Two days of events dedicated to music, nature, and social connection, designed to engage young people, families, and visitors in an experience of sharing, wellbeing, and entertainment. The first day, Young, Music & Nightlife, will be dedicated to young people, featuring sports activities, relaxation, yoga, food trucks, an open bar, and music under the stars, creating an atmosphere of connection and fun from sunset until late into the evening. The second day, Family, Nature & Relax, will invite families and children to discover nature through workshops, readings, sports activities, markets, and moments of togetherness. The day will end at sunset with a picnic on the grass, accompanied by music, art, and stargazing with local astronomy enthusiasts.

Alba sul Monte...in concert  Sonate e Danze - Duo A.Bodnat (fisa.), R.Guazzini (sax) –   9 August

The sunrise concerts are back at the Orti dell’Arciprete, in the heart of the Old Town, offering a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea. Now in its 18th edition, the series, directed by Maestro Augusto Ciavatta, features five Sinday concerts from 26 July to 23 August, dedicated to classical music, jazz and other related genres. The concert will be followed by an included breakfast. Booking is recommended.

Inarrestabile – until 3 September

Ndidi Emefiele, an internationally renowned Nigerian artist, explores the female figure through vibrant, layered works that celebrate autonomy and identity. Inarrestabile, curated by Riccardo Freddo, is her first major solo exhibition in San Marino; it features paintings, collages, and installations that examine the contemporary female experience, bridging African tradition and modernity.

 9x9 Opere tra Muri e Pareti  –  until 3 settembre

Running alongside the second edition of “BUONENOVE – Public Art for the Republic of San Marino”, the exhibition “9×9: Works Between Walls and Surfaces” will be on view at the First Tower. Conceived as an in-depth complement to the festival, the exhibition brings together the experiences of the first edition and the new projects currently underway, offering visitors an insight into the artists’ work and the process through which public art contributes to the transformation of the territory.

"Sacred Pop Icons" exhibition by Simone Legno – until 30 September

The exhibition tells the story of an Expo legacy that continues to build bridges, born from the experience of Expo Osaka 2025 and the collaboration between the Republic of San Marino and the Dicastery for Evangelization. Hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, the exhibition features works that reinterpret the symbols of Christian tradition through a contemporary language of colours, essential forms, and an aesthetic capable of engaging with diverse audiences. A meeting point between art, culture, and spirituality, included in the programme of celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi (1226–2026).
