The most eagerly awaited musical event in San Marino is back again this year: the San Marino Song Contest.

The San Marino competition will decide the official representative of the Republic of San Marino who will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, scheduled to take place at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna (Austria) from 12 to 16 May 2026.

The Grand Final of the San Marino Song Contest will take place on Friday 6 March 2025, at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana and will be broadcast live on San Marino RTV, channel 550, Radio San Marino and Rai Play. The evening will be presented by the renowned Italian television presenter Simona Ventura.

This year, the format introduces a major new feature: in addition to the final on 6 March, the new edition of the San Marino Song Contest will also have two Semi-Finals broadcast live on Rtv on 2 and 3 March 2026, respectively, thus mirroring the Eurovision model.
Each semi-final will see 20 competitors take to the stage.

Ten emerging contestants from the two semi-finals will compete in the Grand Final on 6 March, alongside ten established artists.

Produced and organized by San Marino RTV and the Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with Media Evolution.
