Visionnaire - A riveder le stelle!
One and a thousand shows in one night, in San Marino.
San Marino, 8 June 2021 - Visionnaire presents “A Riveder le Stelle - Looking at the Stars”, a magical show of dance, acrobatics, entertainment, illusions and incredible installations on the theme of the Divine Comedy on the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s death. "A Riveder le stelle" is produced in a worldwide exclusive by Visionnare Performing Arts Experience; it describes through the show Dante’s Inferno, accompanying the spectator to discover sins and protagonists of Dante's genius with the live performing arts’ language. On 19 and 20 June it will re-ignite the Historical Centre of the Republic of San Marino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The most evocative locations of the Historical Centre become natural stages, in and around which Dante's journey develops, creating a unique and overwhelming narrative path, full of twists, which from the dark forest along the infinite path leads us to see the stars. Together with Dante there are Virgil, Charon, the Ignavi, Minos, Paolo and Francesca, Ulysses, Lucifer, symbols, wild beasts, prophecies.
“A Riveder le stelle” is not just a show, it is a wonderful journey, round trip, to the centre of the earth. It is a tribute to Dante, it is a way to celebrate the rebirth and the restart.
Visionnaire "A riveder le stelle" is the first outdoor live theatre show promoted by the Ministry for Tourism and the Tourism Board of the Republic of San Marino, distributed exclusively by NexTime Eventi di Alberto Di Rosa and produced by Illusion Group (two internationally known San Marino companies).
Written and directed by Simone Ranieri, "A Riveder le stelle", boasts prestigious collaborations: the lighting project by the light designer Marco Policastro, choreographies by Davide Attuati and Anna Kolesarova, costumes by Giada Masi and Clio Barcella, and performances and interpretations by the performers of the most renowned international companies such as Elementz Entertainment, Liberi di ... physical theater, Teatro di Fuoco and others that include shows all over the world: from Disneyland Paris to "The 8 Immortals" (Qingdao , China), from Diryah Season in Saudi Arabia to the Venice Carnival, and Broadway New York, Edinburgh as well as participations in Rai and Mediaset programmes.
