The love story of Lella and the Boy with a Quiff

San Marino, 14 June 2023 - The event "The love story of Lella and the Boy with a Quiff" was presented to the press today in the presence of the Ministry of Tourism Federico Pedini Amati, the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Tourism for the Municipality of Bellaria – Igea Marina Bruno Angelo Galli, the President of the Verdeblu Foundation Paolo Borghesi and the Director of the San Marino Concert Band Dino Gnassi.
A musical twinning to celebrate two great artists who warmed fans in the 1960s with their love story: Raffaella Carrà, who grew up in her native Bellaria and the San Marino singer Little Tony, whose 10th anniversary of passing is this year.

It starts on Sunday 18 June at 17:30 in Piazzale Kennedy in Bellaria Igea Marina with the inauguration of a photographic exhibition dedicated to Raffaella Carrà, with the presence of Little Tony's daughter Cristiana Ciacci. This will be followed by a concert by the Band Dino Gnassi Corporation.

The appointment in San Marino is instead scheduled for Wednesday 12 July at 21:00 in Campo Bruno Reffi with the concert entitled "Il Caschetto e il Ciuffo" by the San Marino Concert Band.
The image dedicated to the event pays homage to the 45 rpm "Lo sai tu?", Little Tony's first success launched in 1962, which on the cover depicts the artist together with a still little-known Carrà.

The San Marino Concert Band will perform in a concert entirely dedicated to songs, ballets, music such as the great Rai orchestras of the 70s of black and white TV, to celebrate two artists considered true stars of Italian music: Raffaella, the real showgirl, singer, dancer, and queen of entertainment, able to revolutionize the world of television and Little Tony, who on the wave of international artists such as Elvis Presley and Little Richard, has developed a very personal style that made him an icon of Italian rock of the time, unforgettable for his rebellious look, slicked-back hair and magnetic presence on stage. Loved around the world, their songs have sold millions of records, and are still loved and listened to by all generations. During this evening we will listen to and remember all the great successes that have made the “Caschetto” and the “Ciuffo” world icons of Italian music and rock 'n roll.
