The month of July gives way to August with another week full of events dedicated to international sports, art, extreme sports, theatre, cinema and countless musical proposals for all tastes.


International Tennis San Marino Open – 31 July – 06 August
Great tennis returns to the Titano with an edition full of great surprises. Two world-renowned ex top 10s like Fabio Fognini and David Goffin, many specialists and a patrol of Italians motivated to emerge: this is the business card of the San Marino Open 2023 tennis internationals, which this year moved to the Challenger category ATP 125.
All challenges are played in the Cassa di Risparmio Tennis Center, in the heart of the green park of Montecchio.
Tickets can be purchased at the Tennis Center ticket office, open during the tournament days, from Monday 31 July to Sunday 6 August, starting one hour before the start of the matches.

Tantum Ergo – 31 July
The appointments of the Poetic Traces in Outdated Places festival continue. In the Municipality of Borgo Maggiore, in the green area of the suggestive Sacello del Santo, a special appointment to remember a tragic episode that also directly affected our Republic.
Admission with free offer starting from € 5.00.
The proceeds will be donated to the Teatro Rossini in Lugo, damaged by the flood in Emilia Romagna.

Anniversary of Garibaldi's Escape – 31 July
Ceremony and concert in Piazza Garibaldi starting at 17.00 to celebrate the passage of the hero of two worlds in San Marino.

Abbronzatissima – 01 August
With the energy of the San Marino Concert band and the wickedness of Tania Cantantessa Cervelleri, the summers of the three decades of the 60s, 70s and 80s are retraced through the most representative songs and authors.

San Marino Goodbye – 02, 03 August
The event dedicated to traditional Romagna music is back, inspired by the famous song by the Casadei Orchestra. Wednesday 2 August: Il Ballo with Roberto Pozzi, Maria Pia Timo and Mirco Casadei Popular Folk Orchestra. Thursday 3 August: Ciao Mare 50, concert by the Mirco Casadei Popular Folk Orchestra.

Smiaf – 04, 05, 06 August
The 16th edition of Smiaf project - Festival of Young Knowledge kicks off on Friday 4 August. Three days dedicated to shows, street art, workshops, concerts, meetings, cultural projects, exhibitions, outdoor activities, contests and exhibitions dedicated to extreme sports. A multitude of experiences for adults and children, totally immersed in the magic of a natural environment and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Alba sul Monte – 06 August
The festival of morning concerts continues in the splendid setting of the Orti dell'Arciprete which flank the Basilica del Santo, in the Old Town, with a spectacular view of the Adriatic Sea at sunrise. Sunday 6 August at 6.00 in the morning Electric String Trio (East). Three classical musicians (violin, cello and double bass) enjoy teasing and deforming the classics of great authors.

Cinema nei Castelli – 03, 04, 05, 06 August
From 3 August the cinema will move to the Municipality of Montegiardino, in Piazzetta Alceste Preda Ferri. Thursday 3 August screening of the film "Spirit - The rebel". Friday 4 August “Tolo Tolo”. Saturday 5 August “Mamma Mia!”. Sunday 6 August “Maleficent”.
Free admission – In case of bad weather the screenings will be cancelled

Andy Warhol.Serial Identityfrom 8 July to 8 October
Saturday 8 July the exhibition dedicated to the American artist, father of pop art opens. More than 60 works, from important private collections and international institutions such as the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, tell the entire creative universe of Warhol, from the first drawings made for publishing and fashion, to the most important pop works.
