"A Sweeter World" for the Christmas of Woders

Start on November 25th with installations, illuminations, shows, exhibitions, parades and many surprises

As every year, "The Christmas of Wonders" of the Republic of San Marino is back. The theme of the 2023 edition, which will continue until Epiphany 2024, is "A Sweeter World".

San Marino will become the place where, with a little imagination, the typical holiday delicacies will become the actors of a very sweet story, thanks also to the installation in the Old Town Centre of evocative elements for the creation of a faithful background to the concept proposed by NexTime Eventi, which once again is the contracting agency of the Public Notice issued by the Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Board of San Marino for the organization of the key event of the winter proposal of the Republic of San Marino.

The Ministry of Tourism Federico Pedini Amati has presented the event this morning in a Press Conference together with Alessandra Renzi - Tourism Board, Alberto Di Rosa  - NexTime Eventi and Simone Ranieri - artistic director and director of the shows.

The authorities and the creators have introduced the event and the peculiarities of this edition which will open on November 25th with the switching on of the lights and the opening of some attractions and on December 16th with the show in Piazza della Libertà (which previously will be kept free to allow the visit of the President of the Italian Republic Mattarella).

The Old Town Centre of San Marino will become an immersive scenario, thanks to a route that includes photo sets, themed attractions and a series of bright and scenographic settings which will also see the creation, in Piazza della Libertà, of a magical "House of Sweet Hearts ”. Walls, streets and districts will be illuminated by sparkling lights, while the symbol that will characterize the main districts will be that of the "candy", the typical Christmas sugar cane.

New lights in Piazza del Titano and Piazza Garibaldi with bright candies and gingerbread men will complete the project. Christmas music will be played throughout the Old Town Centre.
