In the Old Town of San Marino the magic of the Christmas of Wonders - A Sweeter World continues to surprise visitors and residents. Starting from Saturday 23 December the long Christmas period starts to be experienced in an atmosphere of celebration and joy thanks to the surprising attractions and shows of the Christmas of Wonders dedicated to families and beyond, every day until 7 January.
The main attraction of this edition is the sparkling House of Sweet Hearts in Piazza della Libertà, a surprising house made of delicacies where anyone can take sensational souvenir photos. Here every day - repeated every half hour from 17.00 to 18.30 - an eccentric chocolatier will involve the public in an exciting show of lights, sounds and special effects. Furthermore, splendid Christmas images will be projected on the external walls of the buildings surrounding the square, which will make event even more unique.
No to be missed is the typical Christmas Markets located in Via Eugippo and Via Donna Felicissima, which will also be open on 25 December starting from 14.30, as well as all the attractions of the Christmas of Wonders. Those who haven't done so yet can write and send their own letter to the North Pole by going to the magical Chocolate Factory in Campo Bruno Reffi: here children and dreamers of all ages will meet Santa Claus, who will be present until 31 December included. For those who wish to experience the typically Christmas magic of the ice rink, the Ice Park in Cava dei Balestrieri awaits all skaters to have fun in a location that is nothing short of dazzling.
Also real joys for the eyes are the Dolce Mostra by Master Pastry Chef Roberto Rinaldini, the magnificent exhibition of chocolate sculptures set up in the Galleria Cassa di Risparmio, and the Big Tree located in Piazzale Domus Plebis, next to which taking a selfie is a must. A walk after sunset is highly recommended to admire the lights that make the walls and all the corners of the historic center shine.
The Christmas of Wonders continues until 7 January with incredible attractions and shows that will enliven the Old Town of the Republic of San Marino.
