The Republic of San Marino took part in the "Brazil - Europe Travel Marketplace 2024" organized by the European Travel Commission for the promotion of some European tourist destinations on the Brazilian market. The roadshow, organized with the aim of promoting the peculiarities of the San Marino territory and tourism on the most prestigious of the South American markets, was lead by the Director of the Tourism and Culture Department and Ambassador of the Republic of San Marino in Brazil Filippo Francini and by the Head of the Marketing Sector of the San Marino Tourism Board Franca Rastelli Tourist.

Alongside the numerous sessions scheduled with the press and tour operators, institutional meetings and guided tours had also been organised.

Director Filippo Francini met the Secretary of State for Tourism of Rio de Janeiro Gustavo Tutuca and the Secretary of State for Tourism of Sao Paulo Roberto De Lucena. The excellent relations between San Marino and Brazil were confirmed with both in the year in which we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the start of official relations and it was agreed to continue the work of joint promotion as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the ministers of tourism of the two countries in Dubai on the occasion of Expo2020.

Among the prestigious meetings also the one with the Italian Consul General Domenico Fornara and with the Secretary of the Government of the State of San Paolo Gilberto Kassab.

The visit to the Ayrton Senna museum, a motoring legend closely linked by destiny to the Republic of San Marino, was particularly touching.
