Start of the Tourist Guide and Tour Leader Training Course

The training course for Tourist Guide and Tour Leader, organised by the Tourism Board in cooperation with the CFP - Professional Training Centre -, started last Friday. The initiative aims to train new professionals in the tourism sector, offering specific skills on the historical, artistic, legislative, architectural, archaeological and naturalistic heritage of the Republic of San Marino.

The course takes place every Friday from 16.30 to 20.30 and every Saturday from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 14.30 to 18.30 until Saturday 12 April.

The course and training contents are structured in specific modules for each professional profile:
Tourist Guide - 60 hours - includes modules on the history and regulations of San Marino, tourism legislation, archaeology, art history, architecture, environment and communication techniques.
Tour Leader- 30 hours - includes historical-legislative, historical-artistic paths and two hours of practice.

- Specific part by the Tourist Coard

Trainees who obtain a certificate of attendance will be able to take the professional qualification examination to become a Tourist Guide or a Tour Leader.

Thanks to this training, future operators will be able to guarantee a qualified welcome to visitors to the cultural heritage of our Republic.
