San Marino protagonist at Expo Osaka 2025
for two weeks of tourism promotion
San Marino, 22 June 2025 – The San Marino Tourism Board, in collaboration with the General Commissioner of the Republic of San Marino for Expo 2025, is protagonist at Expo Osaka 2025, for an important tourism promotion activity scheduled from 21 June to 6 July 2025.
For two weeks, the San Marino Tourism Board, strengthens the presence of San Marino in one of the most important international contexts of the year, presenting itself to the Japanese public, through a stand dedicated to the discovery of the tourist experiences of the oldest Republic in the world. San Marino tells its story to the public with the aim of making known its thousand-year history, its UNESCO heritage, the beauty of the landscape, the traditions and the food and wine of the territory.
The Tourism booth of the Republic of San Marino is located inside the Festival Station, the cultural space of Expo Osaka 2025, dedicated to the promotion of tourism in which traditional crafts and performing arts from all over the world have the opportunity to present themselves to Japan. The initiative is part of the participation of the General Commissioner of San Marino for Expo 2025.
“The participation of the Republic of San Marino in Expo 2025 Osaka is an important opportunity for institutional visibility and promotion of the Country system, in line with the strategic objectives of internationalization and development of the tourism sector”, declared the Minister of Tourism, with Expo delegation, Federico Pedini Amati.
For the General Commissioner Filippo Francini “The Tourism Booth will be a tool for representing and enhancing the historical, cultural and touristic peculiarities of the Republic of San Marino, in line with the message that our country intends to share on an international level with its participation in this Japanese edition of Expo.”
