On 18 July, the event celebrating liscio and the roots of Italian folk music will be back in Campo Bruno Reffi. A blend of tradition and songwriting, promoted by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of San Marino.

San Marino is getting ready to host one of the most longed for evenings of summer 2025: San Marino Goodbye, the event that pays tribute to traditional Romagna music and its deep connection to our culture. Organized and strongly supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the event is not just a musical event, but an authentic expression of identity, collective memory, and the promotion of roots.

The festival takes inspiration from the famous song "San Marino Goodbye" by the Casadei Orchestra, a symbol of an era when music was capable of uniting squares, histories, and generations. The Mirko Casadei Popular Folk Orchestra will open the evening with the show “Giramondo… sulla via Emilia direzione 100,” a special tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of the song “Giramondo,” released by Raul Casadei at the Festivalbar in 1975. A musical journey through tradition and innovation, with all the captivating energy of liscio and Italian folk music.

Following, the stage will host Alberto Bertoli and his "Bottega Bertoli" group, for a concert that blends the memory of his father Pierangelo Bertoli's immortal songs with original and unreleased pieces. It's an opportunity to hear words that still speak to the heart today, amidst fresh emotions and timeless poetry.

The grand finale will be a musical encounter between Casadei and Bertoli, a creative blend of liscio and singer-songwriter music: two seemingly distant languages, yet united by the same calling to sharing and love for their own roots.

With this event, the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of San Marino and the Tourism Board confirm their commitment to promoting memory and popular traditions, recognizing music as a powerful tool for promoting tourism and social cohesion. San Marino Goodbye is more than a concert: it's a celebration of identity, capable of speaking to the present with the voice of the past, and building bridges between generations.

The event is scheduled for 18 July, at 21:00, at Campo Bruno Reffi. Entry is free of charge. This is an unmissable opportunity to experience an evening of music, emotion, and shared history.

Statements:
Alan Gasperoni, Head of Cabinet of the Ministry of Tourism: "This event was strongly supported by the Ministry of Tourism to celebrate a genre that perfectly represents and identifies Romagna and San Marino: liscio. This free event, open to all, will take place tomorrow evening at Campo Bruno Reffi. The turnout has always been excellent, and we are confident it will be the same this year."

Annachiara Sica, Director of the Tourism Board: "We are truly delighted to launch this "San Marino Goodbye" Festival, an event that unites tradition, music, and cultural identity in the name of Romagna’s liscio. Inspired by the legendary song by Raoul Casadei, this event aims to be a popular, cheerful, and engaging celebration, just like the spirit of our land. San Marino, with its unique character and tradition of hospitality, is the perfect setting to experience and relive liscio in all its forms!"

Mirko Casadei – Casadei Orchestra: “My family's bonds with San Marino are longstanding, celebrated in the song San Marino Goodbye, the first song written by Raoul Casadei. This year I've involved Bertoli's band, Alberto, son of the great Pierangelo, who also upholds the family tradition, performing his father's classic songs and his own unreleased tracks.”
