The promotion of San Marino's food and wine excellence continues
The promotion of San Marino's food and wine excellence continues with "From the Land to the Table," a project promoted by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Territory, Environment, and Agriculture to showcase local products and strengthen the Republic of San Marino's agri-food identity.
The initiative was created to build a bridge between producers, restaurateurs, and local businesses, connecting the organizations that contribute every day to expressing the authentic value of our land through cuisine.
Today, the "From the Land to the Table" network has 50 members, including agricultural producers, wineries, restaurateurs, and tourism companies, who collaborate to promote a sustainable development model and experiential tourism linked to the flavors and traditions of San Marino.
The final event of 2025 is the tasting dinner organized by Ristorante Spingarda, scheduled for Friday, November 14th.
For the occasion, the restaurant will offer a special seafood menu, designed to showcase local ingredients and paired with local wines. A sommelier will introduce and explain the menu, guiding guests on a sensory journey through seafood cuisine and San Marino wines. The promoting Secretaries of State declare: "From the Land to the Table" is a project born to promote our products and the people who make them, but also to raise awareness of how food, local area, and culture can become tools for promotion and identity for the entire country."
The project is already showing encouraging signs: we've seen a 12% increase in Cantina Vini wine purchases by participating restaurants compared to recent years. This result confirms how synergy between producers, restaurateurs, and institutions can generate tangible value for the entire San Marino agri-food supply chain.
The project will continue in 2026 with a new calendar of events, gradually involving all participating restaurants and businesses.
A forward-looking journey aimed at telling the story of San Marino through the quality, history, and authenticity of its products, while also highlighting the human and community dimension that connects those who produce, those who cook, and those who choose to enjoy authentic experiences.
