San Marino Halloween Express was presented

 

An event to experience the thrilling atmosphere of Halloween and at the same time discover the Old Town and the galleries of Montalbo and Borgo Maggiore

One of the most awaited holidays for children and families is approaching: Halloween.

The "F.lli Benedettini SpA", with the patronage of the Ministry for Tourism and in collaboration with the Tourism Board, has organized a traveling show that, in addition to "frightening" spectators of all ages, will enhance some of the most evocative places of the Republic of San Marino, first of all the area of the old station and obviously the galleries of Montalbo and Borgo Maggiore.

Starting on Friday 29 October at 16.00, the trips will start (every 30 minutes) - from Piazzale Ex Stazione Parking 2 Bus - aboard the Halloween Express, a train that through a 45-minute trip on the streets of San Marino will pass through the historic galleries of Montalbo, between lights and installations where performers will entertain spectators with themed shows.

Trips scheduled for Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October from 16.00 to 22.00 and Sunday 31 October from 16.00 to 23.00.

The event is SOLD OUT.

The event was presented today at a press conference by the Minister for Tourism Federico Pedini Amati and by Roberto Benedettini of F.lli Benedettini.

The organization announces that it will be possible to get on the San Marino Halloween Express only with a ticket (paper or digital) and arriving at least 15 minutes before the booking time at the departure Piazzale Ex Stazione.

Federico Pedini Amati (Minister for Tourism): “It is with great pleasure that we present an event supported by the Ministry for Tourism for Halloween, an appointment on the calendar that has acquired its own tourist significance over time. We had also tried last year but the conditions linked to the pandemic did not allow us to organize it. San Marino Halloween Express will be a great party for families and children with the enhancement of our galleries and our Old Town, in particular the area of the former station. Presenting the event, one week after the start, and knowing that everything is sold-out is really satisfying, we believe that other initiatives can also be implemented around a project of this type ".

Roberto Benedettini (F.lli Benedettini Group): “Our Company has believed in the value of the galleries for years, we have brought organized groups and created, even in the past, events open to the public. This year we invented the San Marino Halloween Express which hit the mark, one week after the event we are sold-out with over 1800 tickets sold over 3 days (29, 30 and 31 October). It is an event that required considerable commitment and meticulous organization. The appreciation from the public, not only from San Marino, prompted us to add other rides for children and families and night shows for adults. I must thank the Minister of Tourism Federico Pedini Amati and the Tourism Board for supporting our idea".
