Luxury-premium brands in an integrated and sustainable structure

San Marino, 19 April 2021 - The Market PropCo S.R.L. outlet, promoted by Borletti Group, Aedes SIIQ, DEA Real Estate Advisor and VLG Capital, will be called "San Marino Outlet Experience" and will open its doors to the public on Thursday 24 June 2021.

Works are progressing on schedule in order to complete the first 17,000 square meters of GLA, which will host over 70 points of sale with luxury-premium brands. The project also provides for an extension of the area up to 25,000 square metres for a total investment of over 150 million euros, to increase the offer up to 130 stores. At the opening, the facility will also offer a 1,000 square metre Food Terrace, overlooking a large square, with a gastronomic offer characterized by a mix of local and international brands.

San Marino Outlet Experience opens in a territory that is the latest white spot for a successful outlet "- says Giuseppe Roveda, CEO of Aedes SIIQ SpA, adding" We are certain that the high positioning of the product combined with the strategic purpose of its implementation in the background of the Republic of San Marino represent an added value for all stakeholders, from public administrations and satellite activities”.

The outlet will be open every day of the year, unless otherwise specified by the competent authorities. Furthermore, given the ongoing health emergency, the protection and safety of visitors will be one of the priority elements.

"San Marino Outlet Experience will be an elegant, safe and welcoming place ”says Maurizio Borletti, Co-Founder of Borletti Group "The project has the potentiality to attract around 2 million tourists every year. San Marino is, in fact, by its very nature the ideal destination for a tourism in search of opportunities for culture, entertainment and shopping".

Precisely the characteristics of the oldest Republic of Europe, a Unesco World Heritage Site, set the stage for an architectural project with attention to the smallest details. The structure was designed by the One Works studio with innovative technologies and sustainable materials, which fully respect the surrounding hilly environment. To make the structure even more sustainable, the Outlet includes, among other things, the use of LED lighting and a photovoltaic system capable of generating over 300 MWh per year, equal to 38% of the total needs of the common areas . The project was also submitted - with positive results - to the BREEAM certification process, one of the most prominent international certification standards for construction sustainability.

San Marino Outlet Experience, in addition to being integrated into the landscape, will offer visitors a place inspired by local tradition and by the ancient towns of the Republic. The project also includes an ad hoc pedestrian path to manage incoming and outgoing flows and the connection of the squares which are  located at the extremities of the outlet perimetre. Even the choice of construction materials and colors recalls, in a contemporary key, the history of San Marino architecture: materials such as stone and metal are used on the different facades of the San Marino Outlet Experience thanks to the application of patterns and processes that evoke a captivating and avant-garde style.

Among the services offered to customers there is also a Welcome Lounge, with multilingual staff, able to provide support to all those wishing to orient themselves within the centre or to visit the territory of San Marino, and the Free Wi-Fi service available in all the areas of the Outlet. Inside the structure there is also be an equipped playground area, available free of charge, for families with children. Finally, for those who request it, prestigious VIP Lounges will be available to enjoy a truly private and comfortable shopping experience. The Lounges, of different sizes, will also offer a range of additional services including luggage storage and the assistance of skilled personal shoppers.

The Outlet provides a covered parking area with 1,400 covered parking spaces, with direct access to the centre via dedicated lifts, and an outdoor area dedicated to electric vehicles equipped with 38 charging stations available free of charge.
