Milan, 08 February 2022 - Achille Lauro, Valerio Scanu, Ivana Spagna. These are the names of some of the 9 Bigs who will take part, on 19 February at the Teatro Nuovo di Dogana, in the final of “A Voice for San Marino”. The competition, which will decide the representative for the Republic of San Marino at the next Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, has already attracted the attention of the general public in this first edition.
The Minister of Tourism Federico Pedini Amati declared today in the press conference for the presentation of the final at The Westin Palace Hotel in Milan: "More than 500 artists from all over the world participated in the first selection phase, and now these 9 big names on the international music scene will join the 9 emerging artists and the San Marino wild card, represented by Fabry & Labiuse feat. Miòdio, first participants for San Marino at Eurovision in 2008. An event that is an absolute novelty for the Republic, a challenge within a challenge, an innovative way to make our territory known to many artists and the tourist destination to many fans".
The new General Manager of San Marino RTV Ludovico di Meo and Vittorio Costa, CEO of Media Evolution, the main promoters of the event, joined the Minister at the conference. The evening of 19 February will be conducted by Senhit and Jonathan and all the artists will be subjected to the judgment of 5 professionals of the sector, which will be announced on Friday 18 February 2022. An ad hoc jury will also be set up - which will also be announced on 18 February - to evaluate the most radio piece in competition.
