Tourist Professions
The service for guided tours in San Marino is regulated by Delegated Decree no. 129 of 30 September 2013 and relative Implementation Circular.
Tourist guide activity is carried out exclusively by freelancers registered in the San Marino Register of Professional Operators in Tourism and/or by employees of tourism service companies with professional qualification.
Only those who are enrolled in the Register of Tourism Professionals and employees of tourism service providers with professional qualification will be able to exercise the profession of tourist guide, with the exceptions indicated in the Application Circular and in any case subject to authorization by the Tourism Board and after verifying the unavailability of all members of the aforementioned Register.
